Wednesday, October 30th--SCHOOL CLOSED

Due to the ongoing PSPS event, KCA will be closed on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Pray for all those affected in this fire season!

School Closed Again - Tuesday, October 29, 2019

KCA will still be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29th, due to a continued PSPS event. God bless our first responders and fire fighters!

School Closed - Monday, October 28, 2019

KCA will be closed on Monday, October 28th, due to the continued power outage. We will be following the decisions of Lakeport Unified School District as to when we will reopen. A decision will be made for Tuesday, October 29th no later than 6:00 a.m. that morning. Thank you all and God bless!

SCHOOL IS OPEN TODAY!

KCA has power and will be open today, Friday, October 11th. Make sure to bring your lunch, as we aren't sure KVUSD will be able to provide our hot lunches this week. See you very soon!

Power Outagen UPDATE-Thursday, 9:00 pm

As of 9:00 pm Thursday, there is no power at KCA. IF THERE IS POWER AT 6:00 AM on Friday, the staff will contact the families. If there is no power at that time, school will not be in session.

Awards for Math Olympics and Creative Writing

Every year the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) holds their regional competition of Math Olympics and a Creative Writing Festival. Thirty-five students from Konocti Christian Academy competed with others from Christian schools in the California/Hawaii Region. KCA is pleased to report that the following students earned awards:

Pi Day Celebrations

Students, staff and families celebrated Pi (3.14159...) Day last Thursday, 3/14, at 1:59 pm by sharing artwork, a poem, and laughter regarding their "nerdy" costumes.

KCA Begins "Kingdom Assignment"

Konocti Christian Academy students and staff, as well as parents and community members, met at the Paradise Skate Roller Rink on Friday to kick off their $100 investment project.
