Solo Flight School Field Trip

Kindergarten through third grade students of Konocti Christian Academy let their imaginations take flight during their field trip to Solo Flight School at Lampson Field. Owners Gary Trippeer and Nancy Brier enthralled the students by providing them with their own 'private pilot' guides for the morning. Favorites of the day were the visit all the way down the runway to the windsock, the 1941 WWII Stearman biplane, the Switzer glider, and the opportunity to sit in the cockpit and imagine taking flight.
