KCA STUDENTS COMPETE-MATH OLYMPICS AND CREATIVE WRITING FESTIVAL

Every year the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) holds their regional competition of Math Olympics and a Creative Writing Festival. Twenty-three students from Konocti Christian Academy competed with others from Christian schools in the California/Hawaii Region. KCA is pleased to report that the following five students earned awards:

MATH OLYMPICS:

Computation - Erik Sombs (3rd grade) - Third Place

David Wilkes (5th grade) - First Place

CREATIVE WRITING FESTIVAL:

Short Story - Michael Wiser (7th grade) - White Ribbon/"Good"

Bella Schlange (8th grade) - Red Ribbon/"Excellent"

Marlene Quilala (8th grade) - Red Ribbon/"Excellent"
