ACSI Math Olympics-Awards Given
Seventeen students, enrolled in grades 3-8 at Konocti Christian Academy, took part in the 2015 ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) Math Olympics. The students competed against others from Christian schools in the California/Hawaii Region. Each student underwent a battery of four math tests in either mathematical computation or reasoning. KCA is pleased to report that the following seven students earned rosettes:
Fifth place – Madison Kaiser (4th grade) - Computation
Lauren Trippeer (5th grade) - Reasoning
Fourth place - Kaelyn Jeffries (3rd grade) – Reasoning
Noah Schlange (3rd grade) – Computation
Third place - Bella Schlange (6th grade) – Computation
Second place - Armando Maldonado (4th grade) – Computation
Dylan Escobedo (7th grade) – Computation
