Hello KCA Family,
• Principal For The Day - Today we have had the privilege of
being led by Principal Olivia Sokol and enjoying our 90's themed
spirit day. Tomorrow we will have the privilege of being led by
Principal Kaine Robinson and enjoying our Colors themed spirit
day.
• Talent Show - Tomorrow is our school-wide talent show taking
place at 9:00am on the white top! We have a lot of talented students
who have stepped up to share their talent. Parents are welcome to
attend.
• Awards/Graduation Update - Hopefully you saw the flyer that
went home the other day explaining the location change for our
Awards and Graduation night. We will now be holding our Awards
and Graduations at Grace Church Kelseyville on Tuesday, June 10th
at 6:30pm. We will be doing it a little differently this year. We will
be having a 30 minute intermission between 4th and 5th grade. That
intermission should take place "around" 7pm. This will give
families an opportunity to leave or arrive during intermission, if so
desired. If you are arriving at intermission for 5th-7th Grade Awards
and 8th Grade Graduation, It will also give the opportunity for our
Graduates to share their Graduate Tables during the intermission!
• Minimum Day - Wednesday, June 11th is the last day of school
and it is a minimum day! Please be sure to send your child with a
change of clothes. We will be having a fun field day, Soda Floats,
and a visit from the fire engine, creating some water fun to end the
day!
• Hot Lunch to Cold Lunch - Just a friendly reminder that there is
no Hot Lunch this Friday. Please be sure to send your child with a
lunch of their own.
• Summer Packets - Packets will go home on the last day of
school - In the packet you can expect to find your child's report card,
the 2025-2026 calendar, as well as suggested activities for kids to do
around Lake County in the summer.
• Yearbooks - If you purchased a yearbook, they have arrived and
will be handed out to students on Monday.
• Last Call for Lost & Found - All items will be donated if not
claimed by the last day of school. We have a lot of lunchboxes and
clothing that need to return to their homes.
• Caps and Tassels - 8th Grade Graduates, You can keep your caps
and tassels but the gown needs to be returned by the last day of
school or a $20.00 fine will be charged to your parents. Kinder
Graduates, You can keep your caps - nothing will need to be
returned.
Blessings,
Jen Wangberg
